New Super Mario and D2sun

Modded my Wii over a year ago with a D2sun and all's been working well until the recent New Super Mario bros it goes into level 2 then crashes!,Is anyone having the same prob or better still sorted it?

Sadly my daughter run an update and its now the dreaded 4.2e so I may be knackered,Is there another reasonable priced solderless chip that I can put in to get round this although my D2sun did come with a tiny switch and ribbon,Anyone know what these do?
