I installed SoftMii on my Wii, I wanted to remove it so I could sell the Wii and went to format the Wii, which made the Wii not boot up anymore (don't know everything about the Wii) but it will go to Preloader 0.28 on startup (came with SoftMii), when trying to load the system menu from Preloader 0.28 it'll say Ticket Not Found...

If I buy a DriveKey, could I fix my Wii with this? I couldn't get it fixed any other way because it freezes on everything I try (HBC, WAD Manager, etc). Would I have to hook DriveKey up to a working Wii to configure it first? Please ask if any other info is needed.

EDIT: Working now, please delete this topic.

Cant you just run the HBC from preloader, load the HBC and run wadmanager to reinstall the system menu?

Or cant you run wadmanager from the preloader menu?

Like I said before, everything freezes when ran.

Put wad manager's boot.dol on the root of your sd card and try and run that from preloader. And like tech said, from there you can reinstall your system menu. Use NUS Downloader to get the right wad.

OR if you can try installing bootmii as boot2 and do a backup first to prevent anything worse from happening and direct HBC access.
