Sorry if I have posted this in wrong section.
I want to buy a Nin Ds and I will use it mostly , if not exclusively for gaming so I am not sure which to buy.
I understand that roms can be played on DsLite with relative ease using a R4 but do I understand correctly that R4i will do same for DSi? I read somewhere that since DSi is ugraded regulrarly by Nintendo via the internet, that ability to play roms can be disabled quite easily with a new firmware release. Is this correct? Is this likely to happen?
In the UK, a retailer is doing e doing Lite for £79 and the cheapest I have found Dsi is for £139.If I want this for gaming only,is the extra cost for DSi worth it?
I understand next year will see release of DSi exclusive games but would I be correct in assuming that major releases will still be compatible with DSLite? Surely Nintendo will not abandon existing non dsi owners?
Thanks
Lou
