I remember a day long ago when you could buy games that didn't need patches because they actually had people who tested them before they were approved for release. Either they stop hiring people to do that or the testers are just plain dumb fucks.

Back then games were still glitched up only the majority of the games weren't multiplayer so ppl didn't complain as much also and there was no youtube or gamefaqs or even maxconsole to let the whole world about said glitch or exploit nothings changed really. I know there was one game on nes that was bugged at some part which prevented the player from physically being able to finish the game now that's what i call a game breaking glitch.

dont forget, back then most games were 2d platform, and it was alot easier for testers to try every button configuration in every spot etc etc. lets not forget, back then there wasnt 9gigs of code that could cause the issue.

but people forget about these things, dont hold it against them :)
