View Full Version : Has anyone tried the X-Arcade PS2->360 controller adapters?

I figured at $15 bucks a pop (25 for 2) plus shipping they're a far cry from the $90 adapters normally listed. Lack of KB/M is a shame, but I play more fighters than shooters as it is. It also has the same annoying limitation as the others do (requires a wired 360 controller).

However, I have no clue how far the "Works with any PS2 controller" claim goes. I kinda wanna get Logitech's wireless PS2 controller to go along with it (it has such a dreamy d-pad), but compatibility with 3rd party controllers on controller adapters can be quite wonky.

Anyone try it? Any thoughts?

Where does it say that quote, I don't see that.

I do however see where it does say "Wireless Game Controllers are not supported in any capacity".

xarcade is a arcade control panel (google it) i have one and its a 2 player control panel for mame it includes the pc adaptor to hook it to a pc.

the adaptor which you are inquiring about is for people to use the xarcade on an xbox360 because if i am not mistaken, the 360 was the only console it wasnt adapted for via an adaptor.

so if its the case that it is an adptor for the xarcade controller/control panel then you need an xarcade control panel.they have single player ones also.

personaly,i moved on and now own 4 arcade machines,1 being a mame although the control panel needs doing.

Note the order in which they make that statement:

- Works with any first party Xbox 360™ WIRED Game Controller
- Wireless Game Controllers are not supported in any capacity

I think that means wireless 360 controllers, just to avoid anyone not reading the first line properly.

And I guess I misread the PS2 compatibility. Be nice if there was a list for that out there somewhere, tho.
