I want a proper demo before I consider buying it. I hope it's as good as the others were for their times.

the history of GT5 would say otherwise. it needs a real demo. prologue is appearantly nothing like retail, and the current demo doesn't show **** for features.

assuming the game is going to share the same quality as the previous would be an ass thing to do. GT4 sucked major ass if you expected anything to be better. it was just gt3 repacked again to whore out the ps2 slim.

- Head tracking is reconfirmed and it's for use during racing
- Multi display is back (using 3 PS3's for a wider view)
- HD uploads to YouTube
- Weather
- Night racing for all tracks
- All cars will have cockpit view (the 170 premium are the ones on which the interior will also damage - the rest only external damage)
- Night & Day cycle and weather effects on all tracks
- Damage (visual and mechanical)

i have bought all the gt series until now, yes some doesnt have much improvement from the previous, but...guest what? i had alot of fun to play each gt i bought.

not like nfs shift, this is the first nfs i buy and the last one...un-finished product without proper testing with very discutable graphics, but very fun game when its work without crashing on my fat ps3.

What they do in GT is make like nissan gtr,nissan gtr with diffrent stickers, nissan gtr with even more diffrent stickers,nissan grt with other stickers. And than they call that 4 cars.

@PSPROX i tried explaining that a while back you can imagine how that went. One car of a series is used as a base the rest are reskins some may be tuned differently but that's normally achievable on the base models.

Anyway i don't care about the cover i just want my game already, GT is always highly anticipated by me and after the disappointing PSP im only left wanting GT5 even more.

OT but system related: I received the survey from Sony relating to their premium PSN services, They're suggesting £90-100 a year or £12.99-£14.99 a month for most decent packages. The survey had around 20 pages for pricing and options with most packages besides those that are nearly empty only going under £60 a few times. It also had another 30 pages which ask you everything from your satisfaction with PSN when compared to live to what you use your console for.
I liked the survey since i was able to express how poor i feel PSN store pricing is especially the video service.

Well I could consider myself a fan of the series having bought all the previous games on launch.... sans GT: Mobile, and I would do it again since I had fun with those games, BUT being a "fan" of the series doesn't mean I'll blindly give sony $60. There's not enough money in the world for me to drop $60 on everything I sympathize with, and if I was going to start with something, it wouldn't be a multimillion dollar corporation.

They've had more than enough time to make an excellent game, and I expect nothing less... or rather, if they want my $60 it better be perfect. I'm a fan of the series, but I'm a bigger fan of my hard earned money.

A demo would be nice but I wouldn't expect a demo to show you anything other than subtleties in handling. You probably wouldn't get a track editor or weather choice in the demo. You might get the head tracking. Best bet is to borrow it and see if it's worth buying.
