I want to sell my wii without softmod !

Hi, i have a launch wii that i want to sell to one of my friends! my wii have 3.2 with some softmod for usb hard drive and a wiikey v1 on it. I want to sell a really clean wii with only the wiikey1 ! What i should need to do to update to a clean latest version from nintendo server without brick ? Is there any problem with new games and old modchip like the wiikey1 ? should it be a better idea to remove the chip and use the hd softmod hack ?
