I have a chipped PSP but want to remove it as have games e.g. Tiger '09 that I cant play apparently (according to a guy at Game) because my console is chipped. Is there anyway I can remove this. I dont know much about this kind of thing and only came by a chipped PSP as a local repair shop gave me a replacement console for my one that they accidently broke whilst trying to repair. HELP!!

I don't understand what you mean with "Chipped". Maybe you mean modded..then with modchip!?!.

If modded, guy said you a wrong thing...because you can install custom firmware on the chip memory.

Or you can remove the modchip and install custom firmware on psp.

what firmware you have on psp?.

Thanks for the reply - All I know is that some games, most games work but when I tried Tiger 09 when I had just bought it brand new it didnt work so I took it to Game and a guy said that my PSP is "Chipped" - Unfortunately I have no idea what this means as only really play now and again....

I have understand...I have use a traslator for "chipped" word. Sorry I have a poor english...

If it is new, you can bring back in the store. It is obliged to change it with a working one (I don't know where you live, but in Italy, this happen within eight days from purchase). If you have a custom firmware download the iso from internet...It should be legal bacause you have a brough legal copy but don't work.
