Okay, I have a Sega Dreamcast. Its one of my favourite game systems of all time. However the motor is dead and the discs don't spin anymore thus the system won't load games anymore. So 2 questions. (maybe 4)

1) How easy would it be to fix and if so how much would it cost me to do so?

2) If I don't fix it the question is do you think its something I would be able to sell on ebay or kijiji or whatever to someone who might be able to fix it, and if so how much do you think would be a reasonable asking price?

Repair is impossible, the only solution would be to replace the piece, but the best solution is to buy the Dreamcast on ebay, you should get it by $ 30.

Why is it impossible?

For the OP just buy a complete laser assembly and stick that in there its much less fiddly than a motor repair.

I actually was referring to repair. Replace is another matter.;)
