I usually don't do this, but long story short, I'm also a member at The Escapist forums (where they host those Zero Punctuation reviews) and they are holding their yearly event where people vote for their favorite dev. On average, two devs get a combined total of around 3000 votes before the time runs out and one is declared a winner for the next round. Right now, Valve is pitted up against the Facebook flash app maker Zynga and is losing by about 200 votes. 200 votes out of about 30,000. Yes, 30,000 people have voted on this, and Valve is still losing.

The only reason why Zynga is doing so well is because they have called on all of their mindless fanbase. Zynga already crushed Square-Enix, Infinity Ward and Rockstar, so if you consider yourself a gamer, you probably played a game by one of those devs. That a no-name dev whom actually has proudly admitted to scamming their customers is beating down the companies that try to make good games is a complete insult.
PS: If you have a Twitter account, you can vote twice.
