I have a 80 Gig Model Backward. System boots fine, rebuilt the System DB and System Files.
But for some Reason the Board isn't Detecting the Drive. When Inserting a game the System (clock or swirl depending on Pre- 3.1 firmware) Doesn't move.
So i need some Help Troubleshooting this. I'm Currently using the Shitty 3.21 Firmware, Laser is lighting and disc is spinning, this is true for both BR and DVD. So it's not the Laser or the Drive itself. Could it be the Board on the Drive? I have about 37 PS3's Is this what happens when the Handshake between the Board and MB don't match?
Or could it be the Ribbon? Or the Disc detector that sits atop the PS3?
