Electronics Arts 'Global director of talent brand', Matthew Jeffery, has said that EAís reputation as an employer took a severe hit with the publication of the 'EA Spouse' blog in 2004 which criticized EA for the treatment of its employees. "We had a heavy lesson in the power of the internet because it really affected and damaged our brand, and our ability to attract candidates. But it was also good for the brand ultimately because itís changed the company and matured us in the way we project manage. Iím not saying we donít have issues, but it certainly opened our eyes." said Jeffery.
