You know how much install space you'll need on your PS3 for Disney's upcoming racer, Split/Second? You'd be surprised. Reports from all over the Internet say that it's going to be twice the size needed for Metal Gear Solid 4.

If you'll remember, MGS4 clocked in at 4.7Gb. As for Split/Second, well, if the reports are correct, you'll be needing 7Gb install space. Whoawsa! Given that amount, it's probably safe to assume it's gonna take a while before it gets settled in your PS3 system.

However, German website PlayFront is reporting that it will be taking up a mere 3.7Gb. Now that's quite the gap in stats right there, so I guess the only way to confirm it is to check it out ourselves when it releases later this week for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

I don't really see what the issue is with install sizes could be really, unless you install every game you have and never play them. Lucky for ps3 owners you can upgrade your hard-drive without hassles, unlike 360 owners (legitimately swapping out a larger disk, i mean)
