Samsung and Sony have arranged a meeting on May 24 in Seoul but are refusing to comment on what the agenda of the meeting will be. The South Korean press is speculating that the two companies may be planning to join forces to dominate the 3D TV market. The news comes as Samsung today announced it will be investing a record $22.6 billion in expanding its production capacities and in research & development .
