I already got Quina, and talked to Master in the house.
When I go to the Marsh, nothing happens, I just keep going around
and I dont get to Fossil Roo.
I tried ripping my disc using different tools, multi disc and single disc using
different game ids, to no avail. the event with quina wont trigger.
perhaps someone could use my save of FF IX in disc 2 and play through it
until fossil roo. Im in Lachenta wetlands/Qus Marsh . Please? http://images.ngemu.com/forum/smilies/Standard/biggrin.gif
I have a .mcr and a .vmp (psp) save.

The emulator you're using doesn't support FF9 properly.
You'll either need to be on a firmware with popstation and each emulator module installed/a workaround... or you can upgrade to 6.20 and buy it from PSN if its out in your region.

I know you've solved it but i will explain anyway.
What you're doing is running the game through an official emulator on your PSP... as new games are released on the Playstation Store the emulator within the PSP firmware is updated.
Right now you're likely using the emulator from the 5.50 firmware while PSone games on the Playstation Store such as Final Fantasy VIII depend on specific fixes within the emulator in the 6.20 firmware to work as intended.
If you're not buying from the store and working from the latest firmware you will be required to work around the issue for example cwcheat save states or using an older version of the emulator known to bypass the problem (using popsloader)
