Yet another US class-action lawsuit has been filed against Sony over the removal of Other OS. Mr. Wright is alleging that Sony "unlawfully forced" PS3 owners to choose between features initially advertised, and is seeking a sum equal to the cost of the PS3 console, injunction relief, and other damages.

The class includes everyone who purchased a non-Slim model of the PlayStation 3 between 17 November 2006 and 27 March 2010 and did not sell their console before 27 March 2010.

Sony was hit with three other lawsuits for the same reason over the past two months. On April 27, Anthony Ventura of California filed a class action lawsuit (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/108/1086720p1.html) for removing the feature. Additionally, separate owners with similar complaints filed lawsuits (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/108/1088481p1.html) on April 30 and May 5.
