It seems Home will finally be leaving its beta phase behind later this year. That's according to Veemee, a company that has had a hand in a bunch of Home content including the London Pub and some avatar costumeshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif (http://www.qj.net/#).
Speaking at this year's Game (http://www.qj.net/#) in Scotland event in Dundee, Veemee's Kirk Ewing said, "Home is due to come out of its beta-testing phase in December of this year." That would put Home's beta phase at a duration of around two years.
Ewing also took the time to defend Home against its detractors. According to him, "Most people think that Home is sh*t. I'm here to say that it's not. One in three PS3 (http://www.qj.net/#) owners use Home. There are 1.7 million repeat users each using Home for around 53 minutes on average."
