26930With rumours (http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/05/26/team-ico-collection-q1-2011/) abounding about the God of War Collection being followed by a high-definition PS3 collection featuring ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, Eurogamer has run both games through an emulator to see just what HD versions of these games might look like (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/ico-and-shadow-of-the-colossus-emulated-in-hd).
Texture detail and filtering are enormously improved, and there is a definite hint that any HD "remastering" of the game should be something quite special - even if the original art assets are used without any replacement, higher-resolution assets in place.
