If you want to use a car analogy for the 360 and PS3 then this is how it works. The PS3 and 360 are both the same sports car. The PS3 has a few different features or extra's that the 360 trim package doesn't and the 360 has a few features that the PS3 trim package doesn't. Both have pro's and con's depending on what trim package you get.

The funniest thing about this comment is that this is the dev that made Bayonetta and anyone that knows anything about the game knows that if you have a choice you stay away from the PS3 version and get the 360 version. Besides that game they have made a Wii game and a DS game and have a game coming out later this year on the 360 and PS3.

3 Points:

1) I hate the "dev's say..." for heaven's sake, Zeus, I know MaxConsole is a news repeater, but even the source article list the development studio in this case. Platinum Games. Makers of Bayonetta. Hardly optimized for either platform. Good game but hardly a studio that's producing top of the line. -- Qualify the news, rather than citing gospel because a 'dev' said it. There are plenty of idiot devs, just like the rest of us. Dev's nowadays aren't programming geniuses, they're proficient with whatever tools they get given, and just like the rest of us, hate new getting used to new tools.

2) News source is also a PS3 fan site. Hardly objective reporting.

3) Sports car like... wow. Does that mean hard to tune and expensive to fix, unreliable, but looks good under your tv? I think the Xbox 360 wins that one... Lets not forget the games industry is about the bottom line: cash. If you're installed console base is 35 million, that's a lot of games (even with a lower attache rate) than 12 million. If you're trying to sell 'Call of Empires: Modern Party 8' do you want 2 percent of 35 million or 3 percent of 12 million.... its not rocket science. its numbers. There are more civics on the roads than bugattis (and I might add repairing a civic is a bit cheaper than the other one.) Honda makes a bit more money than does Bugatti too. So pack in whatever the devs are saying and get the best of what you can afford.

Besides that, i play on 360, PS3, PC and Wii... Overall either a PC or 360 is the Ferrari, and PS3 is a Toyota.

...but in the end, PS3 and 360 have near same game quality. Is there even any need to compare these consoles when its kinda same ****, different wrapping?

Alot of PS3 fanboys is blind because they never touched a 360, so in their own world PS3 is better than anything else. We know PS3 fanboys is the worst kind, and thats nothing new. When will they grow up and see the reality? ;)

I would say ps3 is a ford mustang and xbox 360 is a chevy camaro (classic battle between brands, loyal fans who hate the other 1)
Good performance and great eye candy.. but lacks appeal for every user

and wii is more the hybrid car thats just good for a little of everything.

Lets keep in mind the big 2 wanna get in on the little ones action. So you cant really knock the hybrid when the muscle cars wanna start getting more miles to the gallon as well.
No matter how we rag the wii, sony and microsoft wanna do what wii does.

More like the PS3 is some japanese made car: Reliable maybe a few problems down the road and the 360 is some american made car: Reliable at first with lots of flash on the inside but will have you walking in a while down the road cause the engine died on you.

Yeah no matter what kind of spin you put on it even with their problems Japanese cars are far superior than American cars. The same can be applied to consoles. I mean look at the problems with the ps3/wii and the xbox360.

One thing I love about the americans is their ability to come up with an extraordinary idea. But when the japanese get their hands on it they usually make said idea or invention better.

But yeah you know exactly what my point is. Don't act like no american cars were ever recalled because of problems.

i agree that is the answer we all should use. both systems have some incredible gaming choices and you can't go wrong either way. let's not have another thread of useless fanboy drivel.

all devs have their choice of words for all consoles, look at how gabe newell retracted his views of the ps3. the clear winner is the gamers, in the choices we have to choose from gaming wise and it's not fair or wise to just be one sided.

What's funny is Bayonetta was much better on 360 than PS3 due to 360 being the leading platform but their next title Vanquish will be PS3 leading so it will be sub standard on both.

If you say that PS3 is a Sports Car then you have to aknowledge that a Sports Car has to drive at the same speed as the other car's on the open road (mutliplatform games) and only can be fun if you drive on specially designed Race Track (Exclusives)... and there are just not enough Race Track's arround to justify paying extra for a Sports Car.

...and my PC is a DeLorean then? Because where my PC goes, i do not need "Roads"!
