i have being trying to play movies of my pen drive on my xbox put it wont seem to let me can any1 please help its driveing me nuts

hi did u put the usb stick in xbox first so it can format it correctly ? and is it the right make ?

no i didnt try that the 1 i bought was a scan disck 1 didnt know you had to buy a certain1 or format it first will try that any other help would be great
