Hi all, newbie here ^^'

I recently got a GBA SP in order to play pokemon red/gold/ruby. Red and gold i used to own, ruby i shall buy (so no legal issues). The problem is, i have a massive pokedex completed on the PC (in an emulator) which i want to upload and play on the SP, and i know this is do-able with a flashcart (i'd also like to add some homebrew/freeware roms too).

I live in the UK, and i have searched everywhere for *any* kind of flashcart that works with the SP (not just the DS), and they are all out of stock, or just plain 404'd.

Could anybody help please? I'd be more than happy to buy any flashcart devices anybody here wants to sell me (i just wanna play my pokemon on the SP :'( )

My email is kuro@kurosplace.com, and if you'd to chat about selling me one i dont mind giving you my phone # if you request it. I just cant find *anywhere* that will sell a Gameboy SP compatible flashcart >.>.

Thanks in advance to all whom read my plieght ^^'

The Supercard and M3 adapters are the best for SP/GBA type use. Sadly they are rather hard to find. I would sell you my old one but I don't think it works anymore. I'll have to check it out.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.

While a little old now, i will let everyone know what i bought (and am using):

First i bought an EZFlash IV which accepts a MiniSD card. Use a real one because this thing hates adapters! :P

This card has a loader firmware on the GBA bus, and can copy games from card into its PSRAM (32 meg i think) before booting it, or you can flash it onto its (16 meg i believe) NOR flash memory and then boot it instantly from that. Not a bad card, but no RTC for the pokemon games.

My second card i bought (i like the EZ IV, but this was an impulse buy for my DS), is the EZFlash V 3-in-1 expansion (slot 2).

This card goes nicely with most slot-1 cards and acts as a rumble, extra RAM, and has an NOR memory for GBA. The great thing about this card, is that the NOR is booted directly with no loader, which might make it much more compatible at the cost of haveing to burn a single game at a time. Again, no RTC chip. Another point of note, is that a DS with a slot-1 card is needed to flash this card with a GBA rom if you plan to use it in the SP (like i do sometimes).

Thanks again for the suggestions!

Happy Gameing Everyone :D
