As I don't have my AT90 yet I can't try this but would it be possible to:
1) Install a game onto a larger 2.5inch HDD which you have swapped into your PS3..
2) Swap HDD back to your original PS3 drive..
3) Connect larger 2.5inch HDD as External Drive and load back up..
Just a thought.. It's worth a try.. :)

I don't own a PS3 yet so I'm just wondering. Can't you simply swap hdd? What I mean is, for example: take a 500gb hdd, insert it into the PS3, format it and install games, take it out, insert a different 500gb hdd into the PS3, format it and install games, and switch back and forth with them? That way all the games should run fine because both hdds are being used as internal ones, just not at the same time.

Hmmmm, would be nice if someone could build another casing for the PS3 which has room for the original HD as well as some extra HDs.
I imagine that if you start normal, it would boot from original HD and block the first USB-port (just to be on the safe side).
But if you start in jig-mode (with eject button pressed), it would block the network-port and boot from one of the extra drives.
Man, I wish I had the skills to build things like that
But I guess weŽll be seeing some homebrew-enabling solutions that donŽt need the jig-mode startup process in the near future, so my idea would become kind of redundant...
(Well an HD-switch would still be nice, I guess :p)
