Update to 3.41 from 3.15 US or EU on a ? Console

I bought a US 60GB console with very early firmware on (1.11?)

Anyway, I last updated to 3.15 via EU PSN connection from the UK with no problems

Would PSN have just given me 3.15 EU or detected my US console and gave it 3.15 US?

I want to go to 3.41 using offline method and need to know whether to use EU or US 3.41?

The update is universal http://www.ps3-hacks.com/category/3 you can get them all there.

I would recommand getting them directly from Sony.
