Does the ps3 have to be 3.41 for psgroove?

I am going out today to buy a ps3 since I just got my usb device in the mail today. My question is that if the ps3 has a firmware older than 3.41 on it will the psgroove still work? If not how can I update it to 3.41?

I think they are working on it, there is a thread here at MC somewhere.

I can say that updating to 3.41 is pretty easy though, d/l the official update file for 3.41, use a usb memory stick and transfer it to you PS3, and then run.

Dont use the network updater otherwise you will end up on 3.42
