So i finally got my PS3 jailbroken, i have a 1TB external drive and a 320gb internal whats the best way to backup my games on the External since fat32 has a small partition size?

Get patition magic v8.xx it lets you format any size drive in fat32

Partition Magic is good. You can also try Paragon Partition Manager. I switched to it after I found out you can actually switch file systems w/o formatting. Was pretty nice for me when I had my 1tb external as NTFS and fat32 (for pc and wii). All i had to do was change the file system and make me a games folder. Didn't have to migrate anything :D

i tried partition magic 8.0.0 the one i had on my computer but i can only seem to get it to 500GB then when i try to merge another Fat32 partition it seems to crash any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you not partition the drive into fat32 and ext3 or ntfs? 500Gb fat32, 500Gb ntfs or ext3? or create 3 partitions?

At some point you will need the ability to handle and store files over 4Gb, I've had my external hdd like this from the start.

I don't think it is wise to keep all your partitions to just fat32.

Just my 2 pence worth.

I just formatted my external 1TB to fat32 with the free app Fat32FormatterEN easy peasy.
