Upgrading hard disk 20GB to ??? on a banned console

I have a white Xbox 360 with a 20GB hard disk, it is flashed and got banned about one and half years ago.

Thinking of installing a bigger hard disk.

Can I do it on a banned console? How big can I go? Does it need to be a WD hard disks only?

What apps and tools do I need? Any good tutorials?

Well of course I would say its the best tutorial but still ;) it should get you a hacked drive with no problems.
