I know how to make them work if you guys are interested

After you copy the saves via ftp run the game and create a new save.
Then replace the contents inside the new save folder with the old ones.

Play!!!

It doesn't work with all games though but most I'd say.. I've been rebuilding my PS3 hard drive from scratch at the moment with my FTP backup (No 'PS3 made' backup involved)..

Yeah man me too lock saves actully sux some blls. I'm having some difficulty restoring my trophys but at least I got my saves ready to go.

hey cyberskunk I just tried to play fifa 11 with my old profile and it came saying that "this profile belongs to another user" in the game. Could it be referring to the psn user? or the ps3 one.

Guys, do you think you can copy over Rock Band DLC? I posted a topic here, no one seems to want to answer.

I'd say the PS3.. Did you happen to back up your registry?.. Try restoring your old registry if you did.. How many save files is it for that game (Some games have seperate profile, continue and stat data).. If so try using a combination..

If you have a look here (http://www.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?156059-HOW-TO-FTP-PS3-Games-to-PC-Clean-pushlist-Files-and-More) near the bottom of the first post it briefly explains how but you need the SDK.. If you have or get the leaked 1.92 SDK it has a small guide on how to build the package needed and then FTP any remaining files that don't get packed.. ;)

were is the registry folder located? inside 000001?

'xRegistry.sys'.. You will find it in 'dev_flash2\etc'..
