I think either my ipod is broke or two the ps3 doesnt want to respond Help!!!

I did the hacked every seems fine, but theres is nothng in the install folder or in the other folder on my ps3.. like it says error blah blah blah.. i think is either the files are corrupted or the ps3 doesnt want t o read then what should i do?

I'm using an ipod touch first generation the error is this my bl drive is not broken and every time i clik on install this is what it tells me

It sounds to me like you're trying to use app_home... did you insert a memory stick containing your .pkg files and use the install function?

What do you mean I'm using an iPod 3g install iboot and put the files on the iPod. Yes is version 3,1,2

Are you loading the jailbreak and selecting the APP_HOME icon?

To load any software once you have activated the jailbreak you need to insert a USB stick with applications such as the backup manager.pkg in the root of it.

Insert your USB stick.
Go to Install Packages.
Install your homebrew.
Homebrew appears on the XMB.

If that does not work or this is not the problem i suggest that you update whatever software you're using to jailbreak with.
What firmware is your console currently on?

can you elaborate because idk what you talking about ithought jailbreaking it install iboto and other stuff will do the job,but now you telling me i need another program as well .. how do i instal it? video tutorial ould be nice and thx for helping me out

Download the program (snes9x.pkg for example). Put it on a USB memory stick. Plug it into your console and go to the install packages section on your console once you have booted into jailbreak mode. Then you select the software package you want to install, Press X and it's installed... you do not need video it's idiot proof.

I cannot provide the software for you here and neither can anyone else right now but it is extremely easy to find with a search on google.

I'm sorry for sounding like an idiot or a noob.

I haven't been on in this site for quiet a while havent touched my ps3 since july of this year because of college and i have some time to played it now and i saw the news about homebrew and stuff.
I'm so late with this stuff nwo and i use to be up to date..

which homebrew o you recommend and also for backaups as well because apaprently i don't know which one to install and thanks for the help again =D

I recommend:
Snes9x for snes emulation.
Blackbox FTP server 1.2.
Pretty Manager which is a modification of Open Backup Manager 1.6.
