Yep I'm still around!!:cool:

Well I have always reacted to MOST news n posts on Gamestop were I started when it was Funcoland notice the word " FUN " in Funcoland? then " GAME " in GameStop well they finally took the FUN and there's not much care to SELL GAMES anymore:

Now they been implementing HARDCORE / GESTAPO style that anyone that works at Gamestop are given hours to work depending on how many Game Informers Magazines are sold and how many Reserves for future games can be done at the end of a week.

After close to 13yrs I went from a Key Manager working 35 hours a week to 1 day a week , and getting written up on EACH WEEK just because I didn't sell enough Game Informers Magazines and Reserves.

So I INSTANTLY found a job that gave me 30+ hours in less then a week and my manager comes on her day OFF to DEMOTE me telling me that my 1st PRIORITY is GameStop.

How can I make them my 1st PRIORITY if I can't pay for Rent for a Roof under my Families heads / Food on the Table and Cloths for my Family on just One to Two days a week?

Because of GameStop My Family for the 1st time got close to getting EVICTED from our place.

Pressuring one that there's hours depends how MANY Game Informers Magazines N Reserves are sold?? In a VIDEO GAME STORE??

So if you feel like they have COMMISSION car sales ppl working at GameStop please don't get upset at them get UPSET at the MAIN MANAGERS N DISTRICT MANAGERS and the COMPANY.

As a GAMER GameStop is still for ME the ONLY place to buy n trade your games..but as an employee and with a Family ...... its not FUN on the other side of the counter.

I'm very sorry to hear about your misfortune and it really sucks that they chose a magazine and pre-orders over loyalty. Hope things go your way in future.

I would like to get to know DOCTOR_XBOX better if he wants to work on new product designs and sales.

LOYALTY is why customer who have a GameStop blocks away from them rather take the BUS or DRIVE to the GameStop I work at, come on?? after almost 13yrs???

How would I been there for so long if CUSTOMERS didn't like how I made them feel when asking for there hard earned money??

It comes down to performance targets and aggressive marketing these days instead of customer service and intelligent marketing. The salesmen we used to know are starting to go, it's almost like commission based selling without the commission.
