Need help transferring files to pse internal HDD via ftp.

I have never found a clear cut answer to this, so I am asking for help, though it may have been covered elsewhere, so please forgive any short sightedness on my part. Say if one was to get "assassins creed brotherhood" backed up onto to a pc. I know where I would have to to transfer it and all that jazz, (the Gamez folder correct?) anyhow it will not run on my ps3. Is there something i need to change via a hex edit or something in order to transfer it to my ps3 internal HDD and have it run properly? any game for that matter. I have tried ftp ing a few backups from my external hdd to my ps3 via blackbox ftp, and none of the games run, though they do show up in backup manager. and load as a backup, but then they crash my ps3. Wondering why this is happening.All of the games I have backed up via my ps3 to an internal with backup manager have worked flawlessly.

As for the rest of your games make sure you turn off discless mode and place a disc in your drive.

Some games may need the controller fix option turned on.

You may need to update the payload on your dongle.

You may need to rip your games from the disc again.

You may need a newer or different backup loader.
