Actually the damage is in there, albeit at low levels, look closely at the rear of the GTR when it starts going again.

Well not necessarily, because GT5 only claims to be the "real driving simulator" not the real destruction derby simulator...which I'm inclined to believe is what Maxconsole's stance on GT5 is given the amount of crash videos they've been highlighting.

ex: in ut2k4 most people played your typical shooter gamestyles. But they added anti gravity and it made it just weird. But kinda fun in a way.

They could create a moon race where there is less gravity with insane wrecks... just something for people to have fun with and it would be easy to code and expand the game to a larger audience. Make for some, hell of a dlc pack.

Also, with regards to the fiat one - i don't really see how it's funny, i mean sure, ha-ha, the cars wont go up the hill, but that's low powered cars for you, if you try to go up a 1 in 2 grade in a micra you'll find yourself going backwards too.

The beach at VENTNOR is fairly small (think two to three football pitches) and it is accessed by steep, winding roads at each end of the bay.What they don't tell you is that the way up isn't good for a mini-metro and you'll be browning your underwear as the car slips and stalls and you get higher and higher.. all that stands between you and the beach below is a few trees and bushes and a substantial cliff :D

Worse still it had speedbumps on the way down, if you have a low suspension kiss goodbye to your nice trimmings and enjoy the repair bill.

The fact that it kept going after repeat impacts like those is completely stupid (you can hear and see it start to drive off). It doesn't need to show heavy damage for the car to be disabled. Common sense tells you that the car was not operable.

How often do you see nascar on a giant trampoline?

The fact that the car initially rolls normally with gravity reducing the roll is normal, but then unless gravity switches on an off randomly where you live what happens next is not normal as it then procedes to bounce higher and further.

Well anyway as i've said before, things like this would be overlooke din other driving games, but GT5's history both in development time and promises means things like this get focused on as it really should be happening.

Anyway no more please, we get all know that GT5 is a fail in terms of living up to it's promises, but it's a good game so who cares, perfectly suited to the CoD on wheels crowd, as in NFS and the like.

sure there are stickers they are the same as items you can collect in any type of game.
so what? the game allows you to create anything you want..
within bounds
and in the creation processes you not bound to anything like stickers.
so it does allow you to build anything.

sure it's a platform game. it still allows you to race in it so.
if someone wants to make a rocket car and fly,ride on a planet with low gravitation i say lbp. (where is the diving simulator when one is talking about space rocked moon cars??)

jesus does everybody wanna stop moaning if you are good the damage is irrelivent cause you dont crash and how can you compare arcade racers with GT and remember Forza is only around because of GT i have both games and gt is by far the more dynamic Forza is for yanks everything is ramped up to hollywood levels so it feels very fake and c'mon the damage in forza looks terrible r any of you actually old enough to drive or have you just watched fast and furious and think thats how things are done? dont get me wrong Forza is a good game but its just a posh project gotham
