Looks fake to me, sounds fake too but this can happen--I back-handed a mate at the weekend, he didn't laugh but I nearly wet myself. :D

thats too bad, are any of you laughing parents? poor kid got smoked hard. kids can sneak up on you in a second. my pops smoked my daughter in the head with a wii remote once. he was swinging like a golf club, on the follow through my daughter who was about 16 months at the time ran right in front on him. bad deal i tell you, and nothing you could do in that split second to stop it. it was terrible.

Umm, that video shows a guy flying in the air (no background in the air,just the same gray color), which is very easy to green screen. I suspect that video is a combination of 3-4 separate videos neatly spliced with a little green screen added for the in-air shot.

The kinect video shows a child rolling off a mattress and walking behind someone else. It shows shadows from the kinect player drop on the little girl. If this is a fake, it is a very good fake and would be pretty hard to duplicate with green screen.

The video at the end says no one was injured. At least he stopped to help the kid out. My dad would of said "Thats for something you did I didnt know about" LOL!

I always check this site for gaming news, but rarely ever comment... I, unfortunately, have to comment on this submission.

This news is horrendous, and not funny at all. It is not funny to laugh at this. You must be insane, sadistic etc. to find this humorous at the very slightest. Is it really funny to find a young girl crying in pain because his ignorant dad elbowed her in the face? How is it funny NOT to laugh at it? I promise you no SANE person would laugh at this. I have been checking this site regularly for years and although I have a high tolerance for sub-par gaming news, this news submission was done in EXTREMELY poor taste. You guys are promoting that vile youtube user who is most probably the dad who did this. He probably did this to get some extra cash from the youtube viewers. Fake or not, the scream of the young girl was real.

There's a million reasons to not purchase kinect, and this would be one of the lamest (you really should have some awareness of your surroudings when playing these types of games, common sense). The same could happen with any of the other motion gimmicks, though in the case of the Move/Wiimote the damage could be worst.
