Nice play on words there Kaz. Will somebody tell this idiot that when my cards info was "possibly" compromised my bank sent me an email telling me of this, and then sent another one confirming everything was ok. It's better to give people the heads up, and be wrong about it (trust me I appreciated my bank for notifying me right away), than to be right and have kept everyone in the dark. Your excuse, just like so many other sony related things is... wait for it.... here it comes.... brace yourselves.... EPIC FAIL! Do not pass go, do not collect $200, just go straight to jail... or at the very least don't insult everybody's intelligence. Your sdf members will not blame you anyways, and the rest of us will not believe you anyways, so don't waste anybody's time.

No he is right that they didn't waited a week before everything gone to the drain, but they did wait 3 days before letting everybody know what has happened with the PSN and their account, either way they did it all wrong.

This just shows how f**ked up Sony is.

They have never done anything wrong EVER, and they will never ever do anything wrong in the future. Its just not possible for them to fail on anything.

Q: What is their "secret" to their perfect world?
A: Hire big fat assholes which dont know **** which dont even know that they are making fool of themselves, and put Sony in a negative light no matter what they say. In their own chicken brains, they think the opposite.

Sony is THE perfect company! End of Story! ;)

On Topic: The attacks happened between April 17th-19th and the customer was told on the 26th. Whether they waited a week or it took a week to gather more information, that was still a very confusing and frustrating period for frightened customers who had only rumour and speculation to go on.

On Topic: The attacks happened between April 17th-19th and the customer was told on the 26th. Whether they waited a week or it took a week to gather more information, that was still a very confusing and frustrating period for frightened customers who had only rumour and speculation to go on.

Yes, it's my little pony friendship is magic series, I was pretty stunned how fun the series are :D

So they took the PSN down based on no credible information, yet refused to share why for over a week? WTF something doesn't add up.

Hmmm so he has admited they waited a week before informing customers (tho that was ona blog not exactly an open wany to inform customers, it took a fair bit more than a week befor I got my Email off them), doesn't matter what they were doing during that week they still took a week a week and they had enough information to get in specialists and inform the likes of the FBI a lot sooner as you don't do that unless you know more than they let on.

This is just BS to try to cover their arses, plain an simple, even the SDF can see that, they won't admit it as would justify it with some BS but deep down even they would know it.

And the real kicker is that, let us not forget, that they claimed it was for maintenance purposes that it was taken down. Not only did they fail to inform us in a timely manner, they blatantly lied (AGAIN!) to buy them more time to keep us in the dark. Had that politician guy not called them out we would still be hearing the official story that the downtime was for maintenance.

Again let's us not forget what they immediately said the reason for the downtime was.

For Christ sake phony... for once in the company's cursed life ADMIT FAULT YOU A-HOLES.

Forgive Kaz Hirai and those Sony CEOs, this reason make perfect sense as the words came out form their mouth lost credibility long time ago; for some serious business like this, they really need credible information to make other believe it.:cool:

they let me know of the potential asap
then confirmed nothing was lost

thats a good system

or sony's system wait untill reports of data loss come in and potential for massive fraud, then say when we get the PSN back up (in 6 weeks) change your data, or contact your bank

They probably can't guarantee that none of your information was accessed.

They knew that some data got stolen! But didnt know exactly what.
To this day they still do not know what exactly got stolen and kaz just said that. But they knew some info did, meaning it could be all info.
They down played the event as just being a psn routine downtime thing. Then a week later they let everyone know about the worst data leak in history!

I watched sonys E3 and was like, man finally jack is addressing the hacking thing. Cool about time sony didnt send kaz to do it. But i listened carefully. He apologizes for any anxiety the outage may have caused. :confused:

Now they are back peddling for some reason? Everyone knows they waited a week so why deny it? Their own time line suggests they knew!
Im guessing the regions that still have not let psn get turned back on are still pissed at sony. I think its hong kong area,,maybe not sure.

Even at E3 kaz called him out for wearing a tie. Obviously this was to give the look of professionalism. Also Trenton i noticed stayed really dry almost sad (i bet he was shooting for humble but it missed the target). Until kaz came out and kinda saved the day. Watch sonys E3 and it wasnt until Kas that they looked to be happy to even be there. Sonys E3 i think had some hidden messages in it. But kaz has done all the grunt work for them. Stringer and Trenton suck.

But now they have me wondering what they are back peddling for? Whats the agenda?

well look at this Nintendo Europe's site is under a phising attack, what have they done, closed portions of the site and put out notices warning consumers, and saying they are trying to prevent data loss

stark contrast to sony's efforts.....again
