Everyone said it was impossible, to Glitch a non-HDMI 360 Console the Opus (Xenon) replacement

But hackers when told 'NO' they right away find strength, and don't give up until it has been done, and now thanks to 'PlagueReign' the Opus Xbox 360 motherboards have fallen victim to the RGH system!

Thanks to alot of testing and many long hours of trying various settings, 'PlagueReign' has been able to do the impossible run the RGH (Reset-Glitch-Hack) for the Xbox 360 console on the non-HDMI Xenon replacement boards called 'Opus'!

Many said it couldn't be done. A few of us at #rgloader had faith and finally proved that the Opus board could be glitched!

Thanks to DeathLok and tydye81 who tested timings and verified the settings in fact did work EVERY time the system booted up.

We wanted to share this with you guys to show you that it can be done! Get your Opuses glitched!

One more thing: When using ggBuild, make sure to specify Falcon for console type.

Here (http://www.multiupload.com/MIBH22V2BU) is the project file for the CPLDs.

Let me know how your experience works for you. I want to know if it went off without a hitch or if you need a little help.

"But hackers will told 'NO' they right away find strength, and don't give up until it been done, and now thanks to 'PlagueReign' the Opus Xbox 360 motherboards have fallen victim to the RGH system!"

... and then Hulk smash?

1. Place blunt in ash tray.

2. Wait 15 minutes until words, phrases, and pictures work like their normal selves.

3. Post news.

4. Resume blunt.

:D

Opps, a little not so clear 'english'! -- Oh'well, it been fixed now. -- Many thanks. -- Sadly, maybe it was 'lack' of other things like my choice of 'coffee' or 'beer' or 'woman', and just doing a run of dozen new stories in a row non-stop, more like broken fingers. -- That is my 'answer' for now.

Great news. But now with tool like x360key and others, is easier use then rather this chip. Not all people are enable to soldering.

is it worth even bothering to put effort into the most shakiest hardware revision?

But seeing as RGH allows for homebrew / DLC / XBLA content as well, it will ALWAYS be better than a drive emulator. Yes it requires soldering, but even with having it fitted by a professional would be cheaper than a drive emu chip.

Well as it is true the OPUS board does not have HDMI, the OPUS is basically a Falcon with no HDMI port. So since the Falcon is supported now it doesn't surprise me that OPUS is glitchable. Xenons on the other hand will probably NEVER be supported.

I was under the impression all motherboards could now be jtagged. Clearly out of the scene.

My understanding is that all but two were hackable:
1. Xenon- IIRC because a timer is fixed which causes the CPU to hang, not glitch
2. The new slim mobo which removes HANA (used for the slim hack)

Honestly, I'm more surprised that opus hasn't been hacked yet. Still good news and work from the hackers.

Shame we'll never see xenon, I really don't want to hack my XBL console unless I have to.
