Less then 24 hours, after the release of the 'PS Vita' in Japan, an 'Hello World' is already out!

http://www.maxconsole.com/maxconsole/contents/RKSID00000000000000000363/icon_xl.jpg

That didn't long, seems Sony going to be already fighting the 'hackers' and 'Jailbreak'ers' with their new 'PS-Vita' system, as an rough but working 'Hello World' has already appeared within 24 hours!

Various 'underground' sites have been spreading this news that Japanese 'hacker' teck4 has already produced a working 'Hello World' app for the just freshly launched 'PS Vita' system!

It seems he was able to quickly take the old PSP Save Game Exploit via v6.31 and make it work on the new 'PS Vita' because it contains an PSP emulator that does not seem to protect itself from the old exploit.

What follows is a rough translation taken from his blog as supplied by PS3News:

The title of the PSP PlayStation Vita (only available for PSN) is to launch the strength of the Vita. What worries me is the save game exploit what works for PSP, PS Vita me to try to work immediately on Mr. teck4 owns a PSP save game exploit unpublished.

The result was of course also take over the vulnerability of the PSP. Hello World at PS Vita (own code) can be performed.

PS_Vita_Hello_World

PS Vita PSP at the first place only because it is emulation, emulator running on the fact that just because we can run your own code does not change much. So while hacking into the system are reproduced in an environment that is running on the PSP will own code.

Half-start at the maximum of the PSP Homebrew Byte Loader (reproduction of) is enough. Some might suspect that I'll not do FAKE, exploit teck4 his unpublished exploit is genuine. PSN version save game exploit with other titles, so there are some that may be realized in the start of the PSP Homebrew PS

Vita Once you have established how to start the HBL, the saved data is Sony " Administrative Assistant for PlayStation content "must be transferred to the PS Vita, and further to transfer the state must now transfer the save data folder into the Hello World binaries that only the saved data . Will be transferred into the data folder in the save if the body can then be started with Vita HBL.

And that is a big possibility that such measures are easily crushed to prevent unwanted save game file transfer for applications that work under the control of Sony. In addition, PS Vita Min Gol exploit so far as such details as if it had been like the PSP PS Vita measures also seem to emulate the PSP.

Those who try to exploit in the PSP PS Vita looking for if not, carefully examine whether the game supports PS Vita first. Everybody's clean trial and trial period Patapon 2 demo is so handy that non-PS Vita not come again in the first place. Incidentally, I'm looking forward to the future from those who were successful on the PS Vita Hello World, will tell for sure.

That only the listed vulnerabilities have been reproduced PSP Hello World is displayed, the display is reproduced even if just how far the system area of Vita Mi Meru potential from here is almost zero. That is not even the first step in hacking it.

Finally, from teck4: PS VITA tried in the Save Game Exploit the PSP.

The PSP exploit exists, it is put out to pasture and some of them without being exposed. I tried PS VITA released today by one of them on System Software 1.50. The picture at the time. (Coarse quality). About the crash I thought I would, and go to display Hello World.

HBL will hopefully be running?

You may also have the opportunity to increase the video. Without even ironic joke emulation But I could see perfectly well.

PS: 6.31 is the view that the exploit is found so that time. This has diverted the time of creation without any further.

i bet sony are so glad they removed other os now right now.

i mean, who would have guessed that doing so would result in them having a planet sized target on their backs.

i still wont be buying a vita but i do hope this leads to the complete **** of the vita (along with a nice xmas present of the ps3 4.0 keys so i can have a rebug 4.0 new year).

You know under normal circumstances i dislike seeing hacks so soon in a console life cycle, 12 months onwards is usually ok as more often than not that gives the manufacturere a realistic 2 year headstart before things really kick off, but to be honest with sony it is only them reaping what they sow. You never know tho this may actually get them to reduce the cost of the console and reduce it's account restrictions to get people to buy instead of hack, but knowing them all they will do is take further measures to piss off their customers.

How about you head back to the IGN/Gamefaqs boards where you belong then? This site has ALWAYS been active with regards to these sort of things, and you are on the WRONG site if you're going to be a Corporate Nut Hugger...

I would tell him to post some good Sony news and get paid for it, but these days its pretty hard to find anything good, sure you get little bits here and there and they get posted but the avalanche that Sony has created is mostly bad.

i make no cover for my hatred of sony now, but that is a direct result of sonys own actions.

as for being a fanboy, how does that work? i own pretty much every games console and handheld ever created and have owned pretty much every home computer marketed in the west from the trs-80 model1 (level 1), apple 2/mac, atari 400/800/1200xl/800xl/130xe/520 st/1040 ste/mega st4, commodore pet/vic20/c64/+4/amiga100/amiga 500/amiga 2000, amstard cpc 464 / 6128, sinclair mk14/zx80/zx81/spectrum 48/spectrum +2/spectrum +3/ql, dragon 32/64, acorn electron / bbc model b, msx/msx2/msx2+, an oric 1/atmos and a jupiter ace, even an ibm pc jnr, a bondwell pc1 and an osborne 1 so tell me what am i a fanboy of?

until this generation i've bought all sony's consoles too from the original "silverdrive" psx to the launch 60gb ps3.

odd though it may seem to you i have a real life although i chose to retire a few years ago as i could happily afford to since i'd made more than enough money from my company to see out the rest of my life and now give my time to my family and here (and my other passion, cars) and for what its worth i've probably seen more of the real world than you ever will, its odd that you are one to say "get a life" because when i got de-modded and temp banned i stayed away by choice and only came back under new management and when i did i once again took an active part in helping to rebuild our community and in time got modded again, on the other hand when you get banned you just sign up again under a new name and carry on spouting the same old fanboy rubbish so which of us needs to get a life?

I Just bought a 3ds which has been out for about 6 months now and it is not hacked at all unless you count the DS Flashcards working but even then you can't update your FW before you update the card itself. I knew this would happen to the Vita. And personally I'm glad it did, I would like to see the "unhackable" memory cards that are crazy priced get completely blown apart too. And to be honest I agree with Billy, Sony brought all of this on themselves. they should have left well enough alone and they would never have been targeted like this. These are just my opinions, though, no one has to agree...

Most informed people with no bias would find those opinions to be a fair assessment of the current situation.

To add to your post I would also like to point out that the 3DS while it has not been hacked yet in 6 months also uses those evil and cheap MircroSD cards.
The whole reason Sony went with more expensive custom made cards was so that they could keep out the "evil" hackers.

an added bonus is that i can shove someone else's sd card in my 3ds and be able to see photos and videos on it whilst still being locked out of their dlc for security, since the vita locks the whole card to the system you cant.
