It is a sign of bad sales? Or just the following the trend that most companies are doing 'slashing prices' of their tablets.
The new fancy Android tablet by Sony called the 'Tablet S' has been out for less then a year, and days before the CES 2012 show, they have announced that tablet will be now prices at $399 for 16gb and $499 for the 32gb model, that is $100 bucks off the original price!
Now this price cut brings the 9.4 inch design out of the 'Transformer Prime' and 'iPad2' territory, but places in right into the over crowded Android market of mid-range slates, will this New Year, New Pricing Strategy, work in Sony's favor and increase sales?
