i just bought the sonic limited edition boxed set and on bootup i realised it needs fw 3.56, now since i dont intend to upgrade (until a 4.x cfw works) am i right in thinking i can simply dump the disc to my external hdd, remove the update folder and change the eboot for a fixed one then patch the sfo?

the question is, has a fixed (and working) eboot been made available (not tb)?

I am sure 'Sonic' been fixed.

Also do a search on 'ps3iso' for any patched eboots.

Look for a Duplex PSN release.
