A short video posted on pod2g blog demoed the process. Release imminent.
The long awaited user-land jailbreak for A5 processor devices like iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is about to be released to the public audience.
Pod2g, the famous ex-Chronic Dev Team hacker who bringed us the untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1 for A4 devices , has posted at his blog, a proof-of-concept video showing an untethered iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 free of the "Apple-Cage" with Cydia flavour. He also mentions that the hack is ready to be distributed to the masses and it is just a matter of days that it will be available embedded in famous packages like RedSn0w or Corona as usual.
iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users are now clapping with their ears for sure. We do.
