Nintendo 3DS continues its Reign of Terror

PlayStation Vita still below the Japanese PSP sales

Already the third week in the 2012 year, and it is not looking good for the PlayStation Vita, unless you are Nintendo and loving the fact 3DS is still King of the Hill

This weeks Media Create Sales are in and once again the Nintendo 3DS is clearly out-performing all the competition selling an impressive 80,960 units.

The Nintendo 3DS closest competitor is the PlayStation 3 which only managed to sell 21,155 units.

Mario Kart continues to be the best-selling Nintendo 3DS game in Japan taking the number one position.

Thirteen of the overall top twenty games in Japan are on Nintendo platforms.

no software.

release street fighter, biohazard, monster hunter, a japanese dating sim, voila. sales.

3ds has mario kart, mario 3ds, etc etc.

it's not the hardware/brand, it's the software (or lack of) that's the issue.

but the 3ds had a poor start and still managed the #1 slot on software and has never had a week when it hasnt had something in the top 10.
