Recently released beta Messages for OS X is the new way for sending files to your iOS devices without complications
A few days ago, Apple released the beta version of Messages, the new App for OS X that replaces iChat and is able to communicate with iOS devices which runs iMessage (All of them with iOS 5 installed). Now we know that this app allows to send almost any type of file to our devices. This is, we can send a .pdf and the Safari web browser will open it, send a video and the iDevice will play it and so on.
According to iClarified:
The new beta of Messages for Mac lets you transfer files of any type to your iOS device, reveals iPhoneil.
The video below demonstrates that Messages is capable of sending files including: .mp3, .pdf, .txt, .sh, .deb, .ipa, .exe, .app, .rar, .tar, .7z, and .zip to your iPhone.
