The dating sim boosts 3DS sales a bit.

As every week, the Media Create Japanese Sales for last week (02/13/12 – 02/19/12) are out.
3DS remains on top and the Konami dating sim game 'New Love Plus' debuts in first place.

As every week, Media Create has released its Japanese VG sales chart, for this year's Week 7 (02/13/12 – 02/19/12).

* Software.

New Love Plus for 3DS debuts in first place selling more than 100K units. Binary Domain (PS3) is in second place with over 73K units sold. And Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy debuted in third place, selling 67K units (seems there was a shortage for that game). Half of the top 20 games are on Nintendo 3DS. Last week sales are in parenthesis.

but they shipped 700k units and those STILL havent sold out and looking at this weeks figures i'd say that it was well below "struggling"

probably not, but give it a few more weeks and its going to happen.

Well if things keep up like this those rumors of the Vita losing support in favor of the 3DS will come true. (Still think it could be possible, some developers only like to release on systems with a healthy install base.)

Well maybe the US and European numbers will look better for the Vita? Although my opinion is it will take a while for the Vita to pick up on sales, going to be a rough year for Sony all the way around.
