Samsung S Galaxy III now has full specs detailed as BGR unveiled it today.

This week, Barcelona is celebrating the annual Mobile World Congress and all the brands are putting their cards over the table.

In absence of Apple, the one that creates most expectation is Samsung that decided not to present the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone. But don't worry, BGR using "their reliable sources" has unveiled how much cool the phone will be.

Here are the technical specs:

- 4.8 inch, full HD 1080P resolution display with 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor.
- Front facing, 2 megapixel camera for video calling as well as an 8 megapixel rear camera.
- Brand new ceramic case.
- 4G LTE connectivity.
- Pre-installed with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

As you see, impressive. No release date has been given as for now but be sure we'll inform you when we know more.

Yes please......... But ive only just got my GS2 booooooooooooo!! As for controls, more companys need to bring better wireless and bluetooth controllers. Start putting controls and buttons on a phone then i becomes too big. I can see better emulators coming on these phones e.g Dreamcast. I know its wrong to say but i kinda think phones will be the death of portable game machines soon.

s/e managed it with the experia play.

and no, until they integrate buttons and sticks to play games with then they will never kill portable gaming. and a lifespan measured in nanoseconds doesnt help either.

8 megapixel, sin't so good for a new cell phone. My phone is a Nokia N86 and it has 8Megapixel, and it is a 3 year old.

I just wonder the battery life on this when you have a vita with a similar quad core and too low a battery life for a mobile. And the 8 mega pixel camera yes whats the other features of it like as 8 mega pixel is overkill for resolution but what is the capture speed like and quality of the sensor.

Hello!.... is this thing on? :p

Impressive specs true... but not everything is all rosie I think. So far, I don't think Android has done a good job of utilizing multiple cores, though ICS is supposed to address that, but as it stands I still need to force the other core on my phone to stay one; and that opens up a totally different can of doo-doo with the battery life. That said, samsung have been rather open about their hardware and their sources with developer communities and that makes problems disappear so much faster. Final thought is that your average joe will like it cause of all the specs (even though they don't really know what any of it means) and power users/devs will have some major fun trying to tweak this little pocket rocket (maybe not little, 4.8" screen?).

Anyways, I'll try to hang around the forums from now on, seems the place has changed... but change is good

Remember megapixels isn't really telling you the quality of the pic, if your camera's sensor is crap then the pic will still look like crap. That said, samsung's phone's cams have so far been above average in the cases I've seen.
