Yes, Ridge Racer Unbounded is an unusual departure from the rest of the franchise, and the City Editor is one of the reasons.

Ridge Racer Unbounded is the next installment in the long-running Namco racing series. However, this is very different from the others. First, this one is being developed by Bugbear Entertainment, who are best known for the FlatOut series. Also, the game include the ability to design and share tracks... do you want to know more about that feature?

There are a lot of things about Ridge Racer Unbounded which make it an unusual departure from the rest of the franchise, and this full-featured city editor is just one of them.

The racer emphasises destructible environments and path finding over straight boost gauges, and has a full suit of sharing tools to push your creations to the world.

The game is releasing on March 30 in Europe and has been delayed in the US. In addition to PS3 and XBOX 360, this one is also coming to PC (first time in the series).

So will this also just contain like Three Tracks and 2 Cars like the Vita Version? With future DLC Packs at exuberant *cough* extortionate *cough* pricing, to appear latter on?

Or would this be a more 'rounded version, like One would (or, indeed should!) expect from a 70.00€ Game?
Cause you know this is gonna be priced at the top like everything else.

On the other hand now that DNF is like less then 10.00€ used at Gamestop I might consider picking it up.
If only for the Shi--s and Giggles.
