A new IOS for reading data from USB HDD? An update incoming?

Dragon Quest X for Wii is launching this year in Japan. Apparently, a Demo from the BETA test contains a new IOS. Could that mean the final Wii update is coming?
Dragon Quest X is a MMORPG from Square Enix. The game is coming this year in Japan on the Nintendo Wii and Wii U and marks the series online debut.
Well, as many other MMORPGS, this will require an external USB HDD or flash memory in order to store future game updates and content. Apparently, in order to achieve this on the Wii, the game contains a new IOS -'IOS 59'-, which was spotted from the BETA test DEMO ISO:

Most likely, this IOS will be mandatory, so this could be the final Wii System Update (4.4?). Well, at least in Japan (there's no word if the game is coming here too, yet).
