Down for about the past 24 hours.

Looks like a massive DDoS attack keeps The Pirate Bay offline. It’s unclear who is behind it (Anonymous denies it)...
Torrent website The Pirate Bay has been down for about the past 24 hours and remains off. They said it has been hit by a "quite big" DDoS attack.
The Pirate Bay announced the attack today on the world’s largest social network:
"We’re under a quite big ddos attack. We don’t know who’s behind it but we have our suspicions… Once we’ve awaken our tech guru Winston Q we’ll get on the issue."
The Pirate Bay has since followed up with two more messages confirming that the site is still under attack and down for many.
If you remember, UK ISP's started blocking the website a few weeks ago (http://www.maxconsole.com/maxcon_forums/showthread.php?188383-UK-ISPs-start-blocking-The-Pirate-Bay-but-site-traffic-rockets), and after that Anonymous kocked down Virgin Media website (http://www.maxconsole.com/maxcon_forums/showthread.php?188574-Anonymous-knocks-down-Virgin-Media-website-over-Pirate-Bay-block).
Well, TPB wasn't happy about that:
"We do NOT encourage these actions," the Pirate Bay said, also on its Facebook page. "We believe in the open and free internets, where anyone can express their views. Even if we strongly disagree with them and even if they hate us. So don't fight them using their ugly methods. DDOS and blocks are both forms of censorship."
Angry Anons? Looks like not, as they have denied it:
The hacktivist group Anonymous has denied allegations that it is behind the Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack against The Pirate Bay. Meanwhile, The Pirate Bay remains down and out.

As The Pirate Bay has already hinted that it knows who the attackers may be, they could reveal it soon!
