1) a weekly poll based on something that was popular in the news or is upcoming news (a press conference or launch)
2) a covers section for replacement covers or custom artwork

Yeah, both sound like good ideas. -- The #2 will have to wait until i get the 'file attachment' storage problem solved, which should bring back alot of the older missing attachments (hopefully) like in the game save sections.

I agree with the first one. We could choose popular or controversial topics to stimulate users.

On the second one, i'm not so sure. Covers are copyrighted materials and we might have problems with that. Furthermore there are a lot of sites specialized in covers only.

I think the first idea is the best option. As Kaos2K already said, there are a lot of cover sites out there... so I vote for the first one.
