Im so pissed my girlfriend just deleted the wrong savegame, i would love if some1 could help me, i was playing Final Fantasy IX NTSC (SLUS-01251) (i think) and just arrived at the black mage village, can any1 help me? :| pls

P.S - Btw gr8 tutorial on how to install CWcheats , thanks!!

P.S.2 - I would like a normal save game not one with maxed out chars (like lvl 99 , 99 of each item etc.. ) :)

Unfortunally there isn't a speciifc savegame that you want.

I find only a saved before battle at end of disc 2, or saved before battle at end of disc 1.

The point where you were is to the end of disc two, maybe is good for you to use that.

If you want, I will attach here the savegame that you want.

Hi, I'm looking for a savegame for Final Fantasy 8, either one of these:

NTSC Version @ start of disc 2 with characters named properly

AND/OR

PAL version @ anytime after Seed Graduation with characters named properly

Have both of these games and they both have little errors on the original discs, so can't play my eboots past either of these points. Would really appreciate the help. Game ID is SLPS02180 on both.

Or maybe, if you convert my NTSC save game to PAL, that would be just as wonderful!

I have looked for a long time (to find a savegame that you want,than excuse me for the answer late), but I have not found a specific save game to beginning of disk two.

Try to use that in first page. Download from first page, usually link quoted became corrupt.

hey xenogears, you think you could make me a save file of megaman x4 with 1. Black Zero with sky Lagoon beat....thats it and 2. Megaman Ultimate Armor with just web spider beat....thats it...........haha simple enough, my joystick on psp is messed up so it wont let me activate cheats, that would be much appreciated! Domo!

I think you mean this cheats.

Black Zero

At the character select screen highlight Zero, hold R1 and press Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, then release R1, hold Circle and press Start Black Zero

Ultimate Armor X

At Character Select screen press O twice, Left Six times, Hold L1 and R2 until the game starts. X's body should be darker almost a purple. Go to where you Get the Leg Capsule in Web Spider's level and you will receive Ultimate Armor.

Well....

I think with "my joystick on psp is messed up", you mean that cheats code don't work.

Don't work because you must configure Psp Controller.

Write on a piece of paper the corresponding buttons and re try.

Maybe 0 (circle Button) doesn't correspond to circle button of psp and then don't work for this matter....

ive already tried the codes, but it doesnt work b/c with my analog being messed up, it thinks i am holding up and to the left, which would be holding L2+R2, therefore messing up the code....i have tried messing with controller inputs, and nothing works....so could you make me a save file of black zero at the very beginning, and ultimate armor x with just web spider beat.....its the only way i can go through the game with those suits......it would be much appreciated, thanks alot

I have found these savegame. Tell me what the most proper is for you.

2 Saves with Zero (Red & Black), saved before second fight with Mavericks. All Life-Ups, sub tanks [along with an extra tank].

All Levels Complete and All Abilities Earned (1 Block)

Black Zero with all weapons, sub tanks, weapon tank, and EX tank. 1) Spaceport (Colonel). 2) Final Weapon 1 (Iris & General). 3) Final Weapon 2 (Teleports & Sigma).

Mega Man X with Ultimate Armor, all heart tanks, all sub tanks, weapon tank, and EX tank. 1) Spaceport (Colonel). 2) Final Weapon 1 (Double & General). 3) Final Weapon 2 (Teleports & Sigma).

Three saves with Mega Man X saved up to final save point with everything. 1: Save with X with Ultimate Armor; 2: Save with X with Fourth Armor with 4-Charge Arm Armor; 3: Save with X with Fourth Armor with Plasma Arm Armor.

X: at Final Weapon, all items found, wearing Ultimate armor. Zero: at Final Weapon, all items found. Zero (black armor): at Final Weapon, all items found.

Psp savegame are in Vmp. That formed is crypted. Only way is follow the guide, to "convert" from .mcr in Vmp.

Ive been reading this forum for a good couple of weeks now, and followed every instruction perfectly. However, im not getting results. I have cwcheats on my psp, and ive been getting the saves i need for final fantasy VII, however, its just not working. I couldnt tell you why. One thing i have noticed, however, is that it tells me the file name should be SCUS_94165-0.mcr but others have said it to be SCUS_94163-0.mcr. Whenever i try the 94163 however, the cwcheat tells me there is a loading error, and that it will not work. Please help.

My savegame is for SCUS 94163 then Final Fantasy VII Disc1of3.

You want use this savegame for disc 3, because your Id region is SCUS-94165.

Then SCUS-94165 is disk 3.

Surely your Cwcheat passage are correct.

You wrong only a thing.

You must re-create the eboot.bpb of disc 3 with same Game Id and Id save of first.

It normal, because Cd Two has different Id region code from one.

You must find cheat codes for cd 2.

Ok, so i downloaded the program you told me to, and have been reading about it and trying to figure out how to use it. I got the eboot out of my psp, and figured out what i need to do, but it appears im missing the base.pbp file. I found someone that said i could download it, but when i did, it didnt work. Any ideas where i can get this file? Sorry for asking such noob questions, but i know you will be able to help me. And dont worry, your english is fine. :)

You must put BASE.PBP in folder called "Files".

BASE.PBP is araund 143Mb.It is found in the game Hot shot golf 2 for Psp, (It is a file called Eboot.pbp and you must rename it in BASE.PBP).

Try to search with google, because post link with copyrighted material is against Maxconsole rules.

SLPS-00025 is a region code used to make work Parasite Eve 2.

This game have many problem to work.

But I have understand that you have original Id region code.

I don't know like you have played this game.:confused:, because with original region code, game freeze on Square Enix screen..:confused:

It don't depend from "name" of the game...

I have experience only with savegame....cwcheat isn't my field.

This thread has the purpose to pick up savegames in formed .mcr (epsxe save) this save game can be also compatible with Epsxe emulator for Pc.

For work, you need have installed cwcheat compatible with your custom firmware.

No questions on Psp savegame, epsxe emulator or on matter that don't have connection with this thread.
Instructions:

You must install cwcheat compatible with your custom firmware.

After you start psx game press and hold select button for about 3 seconds. A cwcheat menu will come up, you will have to use the manage memory option.
first save the gameyou must save game in cwcheat menu, NOT save in the game, for do this go in "menage memory card" and press x on "save memory card 1 to memory stick", and then load memory card onto computer and copy the name of the save that was formed and rename the save that you want to that, and then put it where the save was created on the memory card mso:\seplugins\cwcheat\mc, and then start psx game and bring up cwcheat menu by holding select. go back to manage memory cards and choose load, make sure it is the name & number of the one you renamed.
make sure your save is .mcr format

Illustrated instructions

Installing CWCheat

You can download the latest version right from the CWCheat website, then extract the archive. You're looking for a folder called MS_ROOT. Inside there is another folder called "seplugins", and inside that one are several files and a directory called cwcheat.

Copy the entire seplugins folder onto the root (very start) of your memory stick, so it should look something like this:

Now, turn your PSP completely off by holding the power switch up for like 6 seconds. Once the PSP has been completely turned off turn it back on while holding the R button. The "Recovery Menu" should pop up

Select Plugins and enable all the CWcheat plugins.

Now that you have them enabled go back and exit out of the Recovery Menu. Congratulations, you now have CWcheat on your PSP.

Using CWCheat to swap memory cards:

Now CWcheat is very picky about how the memory card needs to be named, and it also needs to be in epsxe format. If your save is in another format then you need to convert it.

The epsxe save needs to be named after the game's Game ID. You can check the Game ID of a game by going to the SonyIndex ( http://www.sonyindex.com/) website and looking up your game.

Connect your USB cable and copy your epsxe save to X:\seplugins\cwcheat\mc\

Notice how there's a -0 at the end of the filename? You can have up to 255 of these saves, -1, -2, -3, etc. Now disconnect your PSP from your computer, and launch your PSX game.

To activate CWCheat, hold down the Select button (it may take 1-3 seconds). The CWcheat menu should pop up:

When you enter it, you'll see some options:

save memory card 1 to memory stick - this will turn memory card slot 1 save into an epsxe save at seplugins/cwcheat/mc/FILENAME.MCR
save memory card 2 to memory stick - this will turn memory card slot 2 save into an epsxe save at seplugins/cwcheat/mc/FILENAME.MCR
load memory card 1 from memory stick - this will load the epsxe file from /seplugins/cwcheat/mc/FILENAME.MCR to memory card slot 1
load memory card 2 from memory stick - this will save the epsxe file from /seplugins/cwcheat/mc/FILENAME.MCR to memory card slot 2

At the bottom is will show the name of your save game file where it says:

Currently selected memory card file:

Press Right or Left to change the epsxe save, then select your option. If you want to load the epsxe into your game, you'll want to select "Load memory card 1 from memory stick". If you want to back-up your savegame so you can copy it onto your computer (maybe put it back onto a Playstation system via your Dex Drive), select "Save memory card 1 to memory stick".

That should be it - good luck!

Troubleshooting

Why .mcr savegames don't works? (possible causes):

1) Save game must be in .mcr file.
2) Savegame file corrupt.
3) Savegame must be exactly rename in the correct way.
4) Savegame must have of the same country (PAL game CAN ONLY LOAD PAL SAVEGAME, you can't loading a ntsc savegame in a pal game, ect ect).
5) Savegame must have the same Id game, Example SCUS-12125 you can replace only it with anther savegame with SCUS-12125 Id code. (There can be various codes Id different for the same nation, for example game Pal but platinum ect ect. - Psx Tomb Raider Pal Id code is different from Tomb Raider Pal Platinum)
6)In PSX2PSP v1.2 (for example) you have changed the Id save, and .mcr file is no more compatible.
Example:
Id code =SCES-01000 Kula World (Ntsc)
Id savagame code =SCES-01000 .mcr

If you have edited Id savegame for example in SCES01008, is no more compatible, because Id code are different.

Can I write over my save games on my PSP?

Yes - and no. If you already have a memory card on your PSX on PSP game, the save will not be permanent until you do something - make a save, delete a save, and so on. If you try to copy a .mcr file onto your PSX on PSP memory cards that doesn't exist, nothing will happen.

Psp savegame are in Vmp. That formed is crypted. Only way is follow the guide, to "convert" from .mcr in Vmp.

Savegame pal work with Pal game ect ect.

That savegame are "just ready" per cwcheat. But you having Pal savegame never will work.

I have try to search for Ntsc savegame, but there are only to the end of game.

Se tu hai il gioco pal, funzionanosolo sulla Ntsc e viceversa.

Quindi un salvataggio Ntsc non funziona su un gioco pal.

Non uso msn...cercherÃ² di aiutarti qui se ne avrai bisogno.

Si, cwcheat funziona sia con i giochi psp, che con i giochi psx.

Per i giochi psx, Cwcheat lo puoi usare sia per i trucchi, tipo avere infinite Hp, max forza ecc, oppure per caricare i salvataggi in formato .mcr.

In pratica se tu giochi a castlevania per Psx, non puoi passarmi il tuo salvataggio, perchÃ¨ i salvataggi psx sono criptati, cioÃ¨ protetti.

In poche parole i salvataggi di giochi psp si possono scambiare quelli psx no.

Quindi l'unico modo per "fottere" la psp e questo.

Usare i salvataggi dell'emulatore su Pc (epsxe formato .mcr) e convertirli in formato compatibile con la psp grazie a cwcheat.

Tutto qui.

Comunque a questo punto, senza complicarti troppo la vita, giocalo su psp.

Esiste il syphony of the night proprio per psp.

I can't say you for sure, if this savegame has Gt1 Race Car 99.

But this savegame "say"

All "Special" Cars from every car company, and all of the good "Prize" cars from winning races and License tests. Some include various colors and model years

I find savegame on internet and don't make savegame.

I search it until now, but I don't find savegame as like you.

Only way is to use Cwcheat with Gran Turismo 2 cheats code. I think in it you can find Max money and all gold licence..but I don't know for Special Car.

io ho caricato il file con Richter come personaggio ma non accade nulla....

Allora, le cause possono essere molteplici.

Potrebbe essere il file .mcr che hai non funzionante, potrebbe essese che usi un salvataggio Pal per un gioco Ntsc. Potrebbe essere un salvataggio Ntsc ma il tuo Codice Id regionale del tuo gioco diverso, forse non rinomini correttamente il file .mcr.

Ti consiglio di guardare attentamente la guida in prima pagina. Inizia a leggere dove Ã¨ scritto cosÃ¬. Ma miraccomando vai nella prima pagina che ci sono le imamgini. Questo aiuta molto.

To activate CWCheat, hold down the Select button (it may take 1-3 seconds). The CWcheat menu should pop up:

Go down to "Manage memory cards" and select it with X.

When you enter it, you'll see some options:

save memory card 1 to memory stick - this will turn memory card slot 1 save into an epsxe save at seplugins/cwcheat/mc/FILENAME.MCR

At the bottom is will show the name of your save game file where it says:

Currently selected memory card file:

Press Right or Left to change the epsxe save, then select your option. If you want to load the epsxe into your game, you'll want to select "Load memory card 1 from memory stick". If you want to back-up your savegame so you can copy it onto your computer (maybe put it back onto a Playstation system via your Dex Drive), select "Save memory card 1 to memory stick".

That should be it - good luck!

Non posso farlo perchÃ¨ non posseggo il gioco. Comunque se Ã¨ solo una questione di cheat, usa questo tool.

E' semplicissimo da usare, apri il programma, carichi il file demoninato cheatpops.db.

Poi, lo puoi editare come voui aggiunggendo, cancellando, modificando i codici.

I codici gameshark funzionano benissimo con cwcheat, non hai bisogno di convertirli.

Credimi Ã¨ piÃ¹ semplice a dirsi che a farsi.

L'importante che i codici corrispondano esattamente al tuo codice regionale.
Non basta che usi codici Pal su un gioco Pal.

Ad esempio un gioco di calcio; fifa Pal, funziona con condici Pal. Ma esiste la versione italiana, tedesca, francese, ecc ecc.

Quindi anche se Fifa Italiano Ã¨ Pal, come lo Ã¨ anche Fifa Tedesco Pal. Ma entrambi hanno codici regionali differenti.

Spero che non sia il tuo caso.

If you have "installed" correctly cwcheat, to activate it, (in a psp game) hold down the Select button (it may take 1-3 seconds). The CWcheat menu should pop up:

Yes Peter. You need custom firmware to "install" cwcheat.

Only way to install custom firmware on your psp is Pandora Battery. I hope for you that don't have Psp3 or Psp2 with last matherboard. Because to today there isn't solution for them.

thanks for the save game files, but i really wish people wouldn't edit them so your stats are all the way up, takes the fun out of the game, if someone could post a clean FF8 save game file just before timber or around that are that would be awesome, specifically one that hasn't been tampered with.

Thanks TONS for the FFVII saves; they are amazing and I love the NTSC J ones. Does anyone know if there is one out there somewhere for the Japanese FFVII where you start out the game with perfect stats? I found one for the American version but I'd love to have one for the Japanese version as well.

Is hard to find them. Usually all Ps1 savegame are in .gme extension. After I convert them in .mcr compatible with cwcheat.

Use google.

Try to write name of game + savegame (term). Or put Id region code + savegame (term). Usually work.;)

Do you by any chance have a PSP savefile(VMP) for the original Monster rancher with some or all of the rare monsters? I would like to use it for slating for MR2. I already have made one that contains the basic monsters. By the way excellent thread you have going.

Vmp are "cripted". Then is impossible to create them.

But there is a good news...I don't remamber exactly, but....If you want load MR the first savegame into Mr2 you must create a new eboot.bpb of MR2 with same save Id game of the first.

I am able to transfer the savegame data by means of a memory card managing feature of the custom firmware. I was just checking if there was save file available. oh well I guess I will just have to unlock everything manually on my PSP eboot. Thanks anyway.

For pes2 no way. Because savegame and game must have same region. You can use Pal savegame on Ntsc and vice-versa.

There isn't tool to convert region.

Pro iss and iss2 create a folder compress it with winrar and attach here them.

Troubleshooting

Why .mcr savegames don't works? (possible causes):

1) Save game must be in .mcr file.
2) Savegame file corrupt.
3) Savegame must be exactly rename in the correct way.
4) Savegame must have of the same country (PAL game CAN ONLY LOAD PAL SAVEGAME, you can't loading a ntsc savegame in a pal game, ect ect).
5) Savegame must have the same Id game, Example SCUS-12125 you can replace only it with anther savegame with SCUS-12125 Id code. (There can be various codes Id different for the same nation, for example game Pal but platinum ect ect. - Psx Tomb Raider Pal Id code is different from Tomb Raider Pal Platinum)
6)In PSX2PSP v1.2 (for example) you have changed the Id save, and .mcr file is no more compatible.
Example:
Id code =SCES-01000 Kula World (Ntsc)
Id savagame code =SCES-01000 .mcr

If you have edited Id savegame for example in SCES01008, is no more compatible, because Id code are different.

Please I just really want to play Suikoden II with all the perks and I really have no clue on how to use the chw cheat program.

Uhm, sorry, another bad news. Vmp file are crypted. Then savegame are incompatible.

hi!i've just just put an psx emulator on my psp(cf 5.00m33-6) in order to play my lovable game final fantasy vii..i searched for some game saves(and downloaded some of them from here)after i've read your tutorial but unfortunately my psp doesn't recocnize them at all!the game works fine(with 3.71 poploader,version of game:ntsc scus-94163) but there seems to be a problem with:
1)the cwcheat. i've downloaded the latest version(0.2.2 rev d) from the website but maybe i do something wrong in the installation process..when i extrac the file,there are many files!i put only the file with the name "install" in my seplugin file and enable it.do i have to put something else?
2)there is something wrong with the save..although it is a .mcr file,don't know if it is corrupted(though i guess by the time that it's in the forum for download,it is not..),the name of the file is:"final_fntasy_vii_a.mcr",it is from the same country as the version of the game is also ntsc.
i put the save in the destination X:\seplugins\cwcheat\mc\ and i enable the plugins but...nothing!when i start the game and press the select button,nothing happens...also i didn't understand the part when you say:"Notice how there's a -0 at the end of the filename?".what can i do??

becouse i can't find a solution with the cwcheat,i thought about something else:when i play ff vii(ntsc scus-94163)on my psp and i make a save,in the game save data of my psp there is a file named scus 94163 which everything is saved.instead of using the cwcheat with the .mcr files,is there any possibility to find this .mcr file:"Final Fantasy VII NTSC SCUS-94163.
Saved of very beginning of game (starting point) with: All available characters, Max Status for all characters (level, HP, MP, strength, vitality, etc), All limit breaks, Ultimate Weapon, All Materia, Items, Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Max money (Gil)." at this form so i will take it and put it normally in my save game data?if it is possible,can with make it pleaseee??

Simple, rename the .mcr savefile in this way: SCUS:94163-0.mcr This is important, because it is the sequence of loading,. Pratically you can have different memory card, 0 is like First Memory card, 1 is second Memory Card, 2 is third memory card...and so away.

Maybe the problem is Popsloader :confused:. Try to read here:

thank you for helping me my friend!i finally made it to enter in the cwcheat menu!nothing wrong with the installation of the plugins..i just renamed the final_fantasy_vii_a.mcr file into SCUS_94163-0.mcr as you told me and when i pressed the sellect button,i got into the menu!i have an other problem though:after i deleted all the saves from my memory card slot 1 from the save data of my psp(when i was playing the game without cwcheat) and put the .mcr file inside the mc folder,when i enter the cwcheat menu,go down to "Manage memory cards" and select it with X,press the first option:"save memory card 1 to memory stick",it tells me "last operation:ok" of my file but....it doesn't load it after from memory stick!i went to the psp-savedata and i saw my save in .vmp format!is this the problem??becouse all the other saves from my games are in .bin..what can i do???

Well, If you use "save memory card 1" cwcheat function, when you will save in game, don't save in Vmp but in mcr. Pratically you use cwcheat savefile.

Then...You don't use "save memory card 1", but "load from memory card 1". In this way, (for example), final fantasy savegame is loaded, then you can go to "final fantasy title screen" and go on "load game".

Select your load file and when you been in game, find a savepoint and save normally your game.

In this way should be created savegame in vmp. Try...

i finally get to understand how the whole thing with the saves works!although once again,there is another problem...i downloaded some saves(for this game:ff vii ntsc scus 94163)and when i load them,it tells me to insert disc 3,i go to the menu (with the button:home) and switch it to disc 3 but nothing happens..keeps saying this thing.the game that i have is a single eboot(3 discs merged to 1)so is this the reason??what can i do in this case??also the download which i use now(downloaded from here too) is a save which loads in the first save of the game..does this mean that when i get in the first change-disc point,i will have this problem too??should i download the whole game again,this time in 3 discs?thak you once again for your precious help!

Yeah mate. The only solution to load single savegame is single eboot.
This because with multiple eboot (Type FF:VII) take the save id from first disk for all three disks.

In the end, create a single FF:VII disk 3 eboot.pbp and load it.

If you want play the intere game, merge three disk in one. In this way no problem to change disk. You can use "Home button" to switch disk when you should have need.

.mcr savegame can be load only with single disk.

If you load and save from vmp file, no problem for the future. If you still save and loading from cwcheat, you could have problems in future.

Yes. because disk one, disk two and disk three have three different save id. Then .mcr files have the same id save from disk.
Example.
Disk one SLUS-00001 work only with .mcr with inside SLUS-00001 id save
Disk two SLUS-00002 work only with .mcr with inside SLUS-00002 id save
Disk three SLUS-00003 work only with .mcr with inside SLUS-00003 id save

Is through Id savegame that .mcr remamber the affiliation disk.

Teorically, with 3 in one. You can load .mcr for disk one, (because usually with 3 in 1, eboot.pbp, take save id from first disk for all three disk). but not the other.
With 3 in one, you never can load .mcr for disk two or three.

Many Psx game on psp don't run perfectly, there can are glitch, lags, bugs, freeze, black sreen and so way...

For example here I am reporting all web experience.

FF:VII NTSC VERSION.

Make sure your Disc-Load Speed is set to "Normal". If you have it on Fast the game may glitch after a battle.

3.03: Certain enemy moves can cause the the whole screen to turn green or red while still hearing battle sounds and music, the game time will literally slow down to where one attack can take ten minutes to complete. If you do manage to make it to the field screen, save then reset to restore the glitched graphics. Known moves to cause this so far: Hell Bubbles, Sleepel, Ultrasound, and Limit Break: Seal Evil (basically any attack that can cause sleep or silence).

3.11: No battle swirl, but sleep and silence attacks don't cause game to glitch.

3.40: Battle swirl works fine, but sleep and silence attacks DO cause the game to glitch.

Game glitches in battle after Yuffie steals your materia.

3.52: Battle swirl works fine, also sleep and silence attacks no longer cause glitches.

3.71: The Music tempo is slightly too quick but other than that it works great didn't crash or glitch at all. -anthall1991

Right after you beat Demon Gate, you wake up in Gonagaga, Go down to the south of Gonagaga, BUT there will be no Tiny Bronco there.

The game freezes at certain points in Cosmo Canyon. Switch to a different version of Pops to get past this issue.

Jar in which Yuffie hides in during the Wutai sidequest doesn't shake. Switch to a different version of Pops to get past this issue.

The game froze when trying to enter the 3rd area of the Ancient forest. Everything else worked fine.

5.00 M33-3 Have started a new game it no longer hangs at the opening FMV and I'm playing through it. No errors at all so far will update this if I come across anything. -Mick1155

5.00 M33-3 Whether your New Game and FMVs crash/hang seems to depend on which programs were used to create your EBOOT. For best results, use ImgBurn to extract the disc images (in BIN/CUE format), and PSX2PSP to convert them to a multidisc EBOOT. -Tzepish

5.00 M33-3 I extracted the CDs using CloneCD and popstation_md version 1.24 to create a multi-disc eboot and it has been running perfectly. I am currently 3 hours in to Disc 1. I will edit this as I get further in to the game. -NoahBody
5.00 M33-3 UPDATE After many hours of perfect gameplay, it finally froze in Rocket Town while the FMV was playing. Also hangs on 4.01 & 3.90. FMV plays fine on 3.71, 3.72 & 3.80. 5.00 M33-4 Cd extracted using Latest version of image burn... Multidisk eboot created using PSX2PSP v1.4.2... Main Game ID using the original... each cd game id i use the original from the cd(PSX2PSP v1.4.2 automatically load it when u choose eboot) I Finish the game already... 100% playable... No Lockup... -phantomrenegade-

5.00 M33-4 Extracted from a scratchy NTSC-U disc with latest imgburn, and created a multidisc eboot(3 discs) with PSX2PSP 1.4.2. Seems like the game sometimes get totally messed up when exiting battle if the disc speed is set on fast. (the whole screen gets white/red/blue, but you can still play.) Works perfect if set on normal through. And minor slowdown when exiting battle, but nothing that a average player would notice. Finished the game without problems. - Pojkflickan

Pratically, people use a thing called Poploader. This plug-in can load all Popstation for single firmware.

I repeat. I never try it and never I played FF:VII on psx. Then I haven't direct experience on it.

Theorecally, If you fuse all three disk in a single eboot.bpb, you can (when it will ask you to swap disk) change the disk, directly from "home" button.

If you decide to make three single eboot.pbp (eboot.pbp ->CD1 eboot.pbp ->CD2 eboot.pbp ->CD3). You must create a folder called in this way.

This is an example:

X:\PSP\GAME\FFVII

In FFVII folder put the "eboot.pbp ->CD1".

then i take the 3eboots,rename them: eboot1.pbp,ebout2.pbp and eboot3.pbp and put them in the game folder in my psp???

Eboot MUST BE renamed ONLY in eboot.pbp.

If you modified it add number or other thing don't work.

You must put in "X:\PSP\GAME\FFVII" only a file, in this case eboot.pbp. When you finished the game (time to switch), you must turn off psp, go in folder "X:\PSP\GAME\FFVII" and overwrite the eboot.pbp ->Cd1 with eboot.pbp ->Cd2.

Since eboot.pbp (cd1) and eboot.pbp (cd2) have the same name. Windows will ask you to overwrite it. Do it.

Now you undestand because you can't put more then eboot in same folder?.:)

Well other thing. I know, it is complicated, but it is so.

If you choose to make three different single eboot, to load from disk one to disk two (also for third disk.) you must made eboot.pbp ->Cd1, eboot.pbp ->Cd2, eboot.pbp ->Cd3 with same saveid .

If I don't wrong, don't exist FF:VII in Greek language of the game, therefore I recommend you to play to the version Ntsc and not that Pal, because the version Pal has more problems, and besides it also needs a patch to be able to remove the protection.

Open software on Pc and look for Save ID. Look the picture attached.

This is for single eboot. Like eboot.pbp CD1 eboot.pbp CD2 eboot.pbp CD3.

To laod second disk, game must be different IDGAME but same IDSAVE.

If IDSAVE are different you must re-compile ever single eboot.pbp

I don't remamber exactly that popstation is better for FF:VII or VIII but if you search. "psx section" you can find the "specific" thread for the games.

Yes.You can load .mcr thought Cwcheat, in singles eboot or with multi-eboot. When you save the game in savepoint, savegame became in vmp format. Then no problem to the end of game.

Yes, because they became vmp format. Then if you have to pass Disk one to disk two, When psp will say you change disk. Turn off psp, overwrite eboot.pbp disk 1 with eboot.pbp disk 2. Turn on psp, play the game, in title menu, load the savegame normally and go straight.

For multi eboot.pbp (3 in 1), no problem because, when psp will say you change disk, you must use "home" button to switch automatically.

I think the best solution is take whole game in one. Then multi-eboot. I hope only that no problem for the future, type, freeze or thing of kind...usually while you play the whole game something happen.

i already done all that should be done. i downloaded the FFvii file and renamed it to the right name. (SCUS_94163-0.mcr) right? and then i tried to do the same thing as what the guy in the video did. So mine said OK!! after that i thought its already done and can be loaded in slot 1 or 2 but then its EMPTY... what am i to do? i tried 2 save files. from disc 1. please help me im getting frustrated on playing the game. because my file corrupted when i was in Nibelheim. and the least help i can find is your help. to make yer save files work for me. please help. :(

A save with unlimeted ammo is impossible, bacause ammo are usable. Only way is to isntall cwcheat and use cheat codes.

hi there!it's been a while...!so we were at the point that you had finally made me understand how to use the saves in order to start playing final fantasy 7..well,all was well until i got to the point when i am about to change from disc 1 to disc 2!i must say that i have a single eboot version of the game so i was supposed to go in the menu with the home button and just switch it to disc 2..well,i switch it but nothing happens!keeps saying to me "please insert disc 2"..what is the problem and what can i do??i use the 3.71 poploader which works fine(with a cf 5.00m33-6) and i have only a save which i use(i don't load the save from the CWCHEAT of course..)help me out if you can my friend....

There are two problem.

Psp use vmp save format. In this thread we use .mcr.
Why?.
Is imposible convert .mcr file to vmp because them are "crypted".

If you want "cheating" your game there are two way.

1) Use cwcheat.
And use cheat codes.

I remamber that Resident Evil 3 to work it is need to change id region code.

Use SLPS-01222 (BioHazard 2 Game ID) to avoid Clock Tower game freeze. To avoid game freeze after getting the firehose, instead of going directly to the alley, go back to the parking lot to deposit the hose in the chest. Now go directly to the alley (without the fire hose) and then there you withdraw the hose skipping the door where the game freezes.

2 Use .mcr savegame

hey im new here and i have a question, i downloaded your save for digimon world and digimon world 2 cuz i havent played those games in a long time and decided to give it a shot without startin over, and so when i go to load the data i get an error...oh and digimon world 2 doesnt work for some reason :( when i click load game on the main menu the screen goes black

I personally don't test savegame, but the user that had request them. in this forum said that they work.

Probabily you are try to load a Digimon with different Idregion or Id code region.

I remember that you can't load Ntsc savegame in Pal game ect ect, or probabilly you are try to laod a savegame that is incopatible with your game, maybe yout Idgame was mofidied to laod the game.
