I got a brand new Elite today and apart from now coming in a white box they are missing the extra heatsink and heatpipe :( I know the Jasper runs cooler but FFS, will MS never learn that when you cut corners '**** happens!' :mad:

I got the rrod over a year ago and did the x-clamp fix. It worked for little over a year. Now the S.O.B. is back again and I can't figure out how to fix it. I've tried to x-clamp fix again but I can't seem to get it to work. I also tried the baking trick after x clamp this actually did work....

1. What ways are there to move data between two hard drives that doesn't involve the official transfer cable? 2. Is there any way to know which hard drives work with the system? I'd like to know in anticipation of the 250GB drives and the potential for driveswapping in a 250.
