it might be possible to do that, but its no good ripping necessary stuff from the game, thats simply immoral
Yup that's pretty much what I had resigned to as well, especially since I am one who refuses to rip audio, a game without sound sis just pointless...

did you just rip out the files? try relinking the files you ripped out with a smaller file with the same extension. What i do is, i find the smallest file in the folder that has the same extension, and just copy it many times, and renamed the copies to the other music files, therefore it will just repeat one track. hope this helps.

Also if you relinked the files and it still does that try rebuilding with vcdromx, as it seems to have a better success rate than UMD Gen.

There is a rip that should fit on a 512MB stick floating around. But there is no point in adding it to the list until we figure out a way to play it using a loader of sometype

    Post Ripkits ...

    Hi again ,

I tried the following saw that they didnt work so i didnt bother trying anything else:
    ATV Offroad:
    deleted MUSIC1, MUSIC2 and MOVIES.
    ISO => 203 MB

    Ridge Racer
This was tested by myself, and added here now that Ridge Racer is compatable with the latest version of fastloader

Okay for Ridge Racer can be ripped to fit on either a 512 or a 256 depending on what you want to keep.

512MB: Just go into the sound folder and replace bgm_nps_pack.bin
    with a 0 byte version.

    The Con
    del .\PSP_GAME\SYSDIR\UPDATE\
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\THE_CON_TMP
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\DATA\GAMESHARING
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\DATA\NET
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\C01F.PMF
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\c02f.pmf
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\c03f.pmf
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\c05f.pmf
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\c09f.pmf
    del .\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MOVIE\c17f.pmf

Thanks a lot cyanide for replying.

Can anyone verify this for ATV?

In fact I have a 182MB version of Ridge Racer sitting on my mem card right now. So I dont know what is happening when you are trying to rip it. Post your step by step process so one of us can help you out.

    Cheers

I did exactly as that says for ATV and repacked the ISO with VcdromX version 3.6 and it works fine.
