Yup that's pretty much what I had resigned to as well, especially since I am one who refuses to rip audio, a game without sound sis just pointless...Originally Posted by cyanide

got a question, ive ripped some music from nfs rivals, i recompiled with umdgen, the game starts up, after when im asked to autosave, it just goes black and nothing happens?
did you just rip out the files? try relinking the files you ripped out with a smaller file with the same extension. What i do is, i find the smallest file in the folder that has the same extension, and just copy it many times, and renamed the copies to the other music files, therefore it will just repeat one track. hope this helps.
Also if you relinked the files and it still does that try rebuilding with vcdromx, as it seems to have a better success rate than UMD Gen.Originally Posted by holyniht
how to fit GTA:LCS on 1gb stick?? wat files should i rip??
There is a rip that should fit on a 512MB stick floating around. But there is no point in adding it to the list until we figure out a way to play it using a loader of sometypeOriginally Posted by benildean2k3
Hi *,
Just registered to say that not all ripkits work..many of them say:The disk could not be read.I dont know if anybody else had the same problems.
Thanks,

you may have ripped out the wrong things...
which ripkit gives you that error ?
i know it all
Hi again ,
I tried the following saw that they didnt work so i didnt bother trying anything else:
ATV Offroad:
deleted MUSIC1, MUSIC2 and MOVIES.
ISO => 203 MB
Ridge Racer
This was tested by myself, and added here now that Ridge Racer is compatable with the latest version of fastloader
Okay for Ridge Racer can be ripped to fit on either a 512 or a 256 depending on what you want to keep.
512MB: Just go into the sound folder and replace bgm_nps_pack.bin
with a 0 byte version.

@cybersage: yeah i have the same 182mb RR version...
works perfectly here...
maybe he dumped it wrong or made iso wrong...
i know it all
I did exactly as that says for ATV and repacked the ISO with VcdromX version 3.6 and it works fine.
